I've recently discovered something, a pattern of sorts.

I think Nerine has a thing for white haired boys, like, whenever we're watching a show, playing a videogame or whatever and a guy with white hair appears I already know she's gonna develop an attachment for this character, it happens every time! Dante from Devil May Cry? she though he was cute, Satoru Gojo from jjk? she thought he was cute, Sephiroth from final fantasy? she thought he was cute, Haise from Tokyo ghoul? she thought he was cute, Epsilon from pluto? you know.

It's not like she only folds for silver haired men, and even then, it doesn't happen always, but it happens very often, which I find funny, she definitely has a type.

I have a question for you, what the hell do you do when ko-fi decides to randomly decline some cards?

More than one person has told me that when they try to purchase a commission from me via ko-fi, the page just refuses to accept their cards, with the message "your card has been declined" or something similar to that.

I tried to search what the cause for this could be, ko-fi says that it may be the browser, the use of a VPN or that the card may be expired, but none of this seems to be the real source of the problem.

This doesn't happen to everybody tho, some people struggle with this while others can purchase with no trouble at all, it also has happened to some that the card gets declined a bunch of times first before magically deciding to work.

I have no idea how to fix this, I'm using the stripe option, I used to have available PayPal too but it became doodoo feces so that's not an option no more.

I'm braindead when it comes to this sorta stuff so any kind of help is appreciated, thank u very much.

This happen a while ago, but it will never leave my mind, for sure.

So I was hanging out with Nerine (very out of character from me, I know), I can't remember where were we heading to but that isn't important, what is important is that we took a shortcut that went through a hill, cuz I just had found about it and nothing happened when I went through it by myself.

The view once you got to the top was so nice we decided to take a little break to just enjoy the view.

We couldn't enjoy it for long tho, because the bushes behind us started to rustle, and form them a homeless man emerged, he was standing right were we came from, so we were kinda trapped.

After getting out of the bushes completely, he then asked if we had any money to spare.

We didn't reply, at least I don't recall either of us doing so, what I do remember is that Nerine started to slowly back off, to which this guy noticed and replied with something along the lines of "hey don't run, if you run I'll get you"

My first thought in that moment was getting in front of Nerine so he wouldn't touch her, I was getting mentally prepared to throw hands if necessary.

As soon as Nerine found out what I was doing, she janked me into this very narrow path that was behind us.

It was full of rocks and it also was uneven as hell, I have no idea how she managed to go through this entire thing downhill without falling or even tripping once considering how fast she was going, she became a freakin mountain goat in that moment.

The homeless guy tried to give chase, shouting something I couldn't understand, but due to him wearing sandals, one of em slipped from under his feet at one point, forcing him to retreat.

In just a matter of seconds we were once again at the very bottom of the hill, for some reason Nerine was laughing uncontrollably the whole time we were getting chased.

It goes without saying, we never took that shortcut ever again.

Well Nerine got this game, I had heard about it before, it is one of those games I knew existed but that's about it, no ideawhat it was about or the plot.

It looked like one of those story heavy driven games, so I was quite surprised when I was told it had a co-op mode, frickin sweet lois, and the best part?

I got to play as this ghost/entity/satand thing called Aiden.

And I was having the time of my life whenever I got to play, you get to throw stuff around and ruin everyone's day if you so desire, I wanted to touch everything, throw stuff, scare people any opportunity I was given, I WAS READY TO CAUSE MAYHEM!

But Nerine wouldn't let me, she would try her best to stop me from causing poltergeists and ruining the missions, kinda like how the characters interact with each other in game, funnily enough.

Spoilers, if u care:

At one point I got to destroy a kid's house cuz she and her friends were being a dick to Jodi, the protagonist and the character Nerine was playing as.

But even then Nerine stopped me before I could set the house on fire.

Very fun stuff.

So something happened last night.

Nerine likes to sometimes go outside and stay in the car, which is parked in the front yard of the house, cuz when she plays videogames with her friends she tends to scream and curse A LOT, and since the house is small and she don't wanna bother anyone well that's her workaround.

I was in my room doing something, can't remember what, when I got a text from her, she always does this when play time is over.

Everything okay, but then she just sent me a message saying, quote: "there's a weird guy outside, go check the door".

And that's weird, isn't it, so I got out of bed, walked towards the kitchen door, I saw nothing, went outside, saw nothing, I then went to the car, opened it, Nerine was no longer there.

I finally decided to check the main door, the one that leads to the living room, and I just saw Nerine, standing there, waiting for me to peek trough the door window so she could jump out and spook me.

This obviously did not work, she finally turned around and saw me looking at her, never heard all of the noise I was making cuz she still had her headphones on with music all the way up, her disappointment was very visible.

I am truly, unspookable.

Because I don't wanna get fat.

But that reminded me of how close we are to get a new GOTM entry, you know, the one we're a bunch of OCs gather and die, that's the one.

Which left me wondering, should I start giving the GOTM threads actual names? Like just calling em GOTM25 or something instead of just titling them whatever.

I wanna know if putting random bs as the thread title for these funni or just annoying, so lemme know what ya like better.

Anecdote time baby

So I went to one of those lab thingies to get my blood checked recently, not that I'm sick or anything, it was just to make sure there's nothing wrong with myself, which there wasn't!

But that's not the point.

The point is, when the nurse pricked me with the syringe she started to struggle a bit, guess blok anatomy made things unnecessarily difficult for her, cuz she started moving the needle under my skin, desperately looking for a vein.

She said "let me know if you feel any pain" and I was like "sure" and so I sat there without making the slightest of noises nor movements, watching a needle wiggle under my skin, the nurse even removed the needle and reinserted it back, just to not find a vein again.

She tried removing it and inserting it back for a third time and so she finally was able to find some sweet sweet blood to extract.

Truly, the experience of all times.

Scary anecdote time.

This happened to Nerine, she used to experience a lot of hard to explain stuff? dunno how to call it, but this is one example of that.

We had decided one night to go to sleep on the living room, putting the 2 sofas facing each other so we could talk a bit before going to sleep.

I fell asleep, cuz me eepy, but Nerine was still awake, although not too far behind going to Dreamland, she was in that state in which u still see what's going on and such but your eyes are almost entirely closed.

She said that while in that state, she saw me getting super close to her face, like if I were about to give her a kiss or something, and she just stay put, waiting to see what I do, but I wasn't moving at all, I was just there, very close, staring at her.

After a while she decided to properly open her eyes to ask what's going on, but as soon as she did she realized that I was, in fact, on the other sofa sleeping.

The sofas weren't too far apart, like, maybe 2m between each other max, but still, it was imposible that I could move faster than Nerine's eyelids to go from one sofa to another and pretend to be asleep.

Also very important, I don't recall any of this ever happening, she told me this the next morning.

Very weird.
